DoK in partnership with Coaching Trail is implementing a new project dubbed “In Artemis Project”; a leadership development programme for leaders contributing to empowering women in Africa.
It entails a leadership and strategic management development training course. Currently enrolled leaders for the course are drawn from governmental, corporate and non-governmental institutions. They include program managers, government officials and social entrepreneurs. In addition, DoK runs a consultancy service that offers training in leadership, program management, governance and organizational development. The modules are customized to a client’s needs and bespoke training sessions are offered using a specially designed model and curriculum. Under the Leadership Development Program, Daughters of Kenya (DoK) has also instituted a continental project dubbed “Daughters of Africa Leadership Caucus (DoAC)” that is aimed at capacity building and training young African women leaders across the continent. DoAC is Convened by Daughters of Kenya but hosted by focal point organizations in 24 countries in Africa.
